Italian Film Festival 2012
The Italian Cultural Institute and Luce Cinecitta` proudly present the second annual Italian Film Festival with its evocative new title Cinema Made in Italy. From 9th to 15th March there's a week of British premieres for new Italian films at Cine` Lumière, eight chosen
by Paolo Mereghetti, film critic for Il Corriere della Sera, and two by Adrian Wootton, Chief Executive of Film London. One additional film, Summer Games, is a primarily Swiss production that revels in Italy's cinematic splendour.
For the rest of the month Italian films based around sport, in honour of the Olympic year, will be screened in the Georgian splendour of the Italian Cultural Institute itself.
